Mukuba Pension Trust offers two different Pension Schemes; Defined Contribution (DC) and Defined Benefit (DB). These two Schemes ensure that the  preference of both employee and employer are accommodated. The flexibility in the contribution rates for DC Scheme has the advantage of meeting both employer and employee budgets.

We are experts in Zambian pension services having been in existence since 1982. To date, we remain both the oldest and largest occupational pension scheme in Zambia. We have grown the Fund value since then and our pension administration has been unparalleled. We so pride ourselves on our proven track record for effectively administering pensions to thousands of Pensioners, Widowed spouses and Orphaned children.

Mukuba is involved in every stage of a member`s life from the day he/she starts his/her pension contributions. Our ultimate objective for any member of our Scheme is to replace a monthly salary income with a monthly pension at the point of retirement. With this in mind our pension payments are always processed on time, every time.

MUKUBA Pension Trust manages the Mukuba Pension Scheme established on the 1st April 1982 following a successful negotiation between Mine Workers Union of Zambia (MUZ) and the Zambia Consolidated Copper Mines (ZCCM). Its main purpose was to provide pension benefits for all categories of employees on local conditions of employment at ZCCM, its subsidiaries and associated companies.

With the privatization of Mines, the Mukuba Pension Scheme has been rebranded and opened up to carter for all kinds of employers in mining sector.

 Over the years, Mukuba Pension Trust has grown from strength to strength with office presence now available in Kitwe (HQ), Lusaka, Ndola and Chingola.

BOARD OF TRUSTEES

MUKUBA Pension Trust is committed to the highest level of Transparence and is dedicated to excellent leadership. The Fund is steered by a highly competent Board of Trustees drawn from various sectors of Zambian Society. The Board meet at least quarterly to ensure the Fund is performing accordingly and maintain highest level of member satisfaction.

MANAGEMENT

The Chief Executive Officer is the head of the Institution. He is supported by a team of highly competent and experienced management team.
